r.i.p our beloved closet website

Today we pull the plug on www.closet.co.nz It was a tough decision but we came to the realisation that selling t-shirts online sucks balls.
It's not the we don't like t-shirts or the internet per se it's just that putting that combination of things together can be logistically difficult, time consuming, thankless, financially nebulous, at times depressing, spreadsheet/accounting heavy & probably most importantly in this postmodern borderless capitalist world we live in - extremely competitive.
We realised we no longer wish to take part in this side of the business & take our hats off to those who do it well.
Highlights of our career will be the Wordsby tees we created with Kelvin Soh & many other talented local artists & our benefit tees for the victims of Haiti we did through Oxfam.
A special thanks must go out to Simon Chesterman for working tirelessly on our Branding, Universal Music & Bravado for our 3 year partnership & all our past & present staff.
We will continue to do our work with wholesale customers through to June 2012 at which time Dave will jump on a plane to NYC never to be seen again (hopefully).
